It Was A Challenge I Couldn't Refuse.
In 2010, I was hired to rebuild their creative team, update their look & feel, and launch their new brand venture as a new marketplace for website template. They needed a whole website design brands for those upcoming  gallery. They're requesting  websites for wide range of professions from restaurant industry, health and wellness, fitness, public  speakers, corporations to technology industry. I was given  less than 5 days to complete the task. 

What happened?
I came up with 200 of a well designed website brands within 5 days. It was an impossible  task even by a team of experienced designers standard and time frame. 

Where the inspiration  came from?
I enjoy twelve years of solid experience in a creative field as a creative brand designer, art director, senior graphic designer, and front end web designer in a creative design agency, and in-house design company for established brands with solid design portfolio. In creative branding, consumer is always a center of what we do. I get to be curious about our target market or learn who the consumer is! This is one of the reasons why I'm so passionate about what I do. So building  brands is natural to me.


It Was A Role I've Been Waiting For
I'm a brand designer with a deep passion for brand building and digital marketing. What I like about branding is that I get to be curious. I get to learn about what consumer wants and needs . I get to dig deep into brand and consumer relationships, the importance of consumer understanding. All the unique experience has afforded me with a well rounded skill set for this role. 

I also enjoy a role where I collaborate with various teams such as a Marketing/Sales, content manager, and creative department in managing projects to assist, guide, translate, conceptualize, execute and deliver best creative solutions. It's was a "Go-To-Guy" role of a Creative Designer.

For TBC brand to resonates with the audience on a deeper level, we must establish a distinctiveness in our brand core value. What is core value? Your brand core value is your brand vision. Brand vision is a specific image that a company wants to project to your audience. Your brand image could be varied from integrity, accountability, perseverance to what have you. In this case, although TBC, is a tech creative driven company but still we wanted to add some humanistic touch into our brand logo identity to break away from the traditional cold high tech look. So we chose specific visual imagery and color scheme to reflect the speaks of trust, dependability, commitment, and loyalty.


A brand represents the sum of people's perception of a company's customer service, reputation, advertising, and logo. Developing a strong brand identity for your business is an extremely important factor in its success. It all begins from your core value. Effective branding can help build your reputation, make you stand out from your competition and project your values to attract your ideal client. Its main objectives are to motivate core consumers of our target market that you offer individual attention and superb product.

Your promise should symbolize what you stand for, what you believe in, what your vision of the world is. Your promise is your reputation. You must continuously strive to uphold it. A company's brand represents their marketing identity - who they are, what they do, what kind of quality they provide, their reputation compared to competitors. Establishing a clear brand promise. A brand promise is an extension of a company’s positioning. However, a promise, of course, is good only if it’s kept. It's fairly to say that don’t leave your brand open to a variety of interpretations and customization.

I believe in the idea that your business does not have to be a completely new idea, but your brand does. And  the clearer you are about your positioning (personal or business), the easier it is for potential clients and customers (who are the right match for what you offer) to see themselves working with you.
