Fashion shows have always been, and still are about generating publicity and giving buyers and the press an idea of what the season's look will be. They're intrinsically elitist and a reflection of social status and the culture of the leisure class.

1. Establish Your Goals.
To ensure a successful marketing campaign, you first have to establish event goals. By concretely establishing the goals of the event campaign, you’ll be able to better manage and communicate to team members and have them understand why this campaign is so important. By having specific goals will make it easier for all team members to be on the same page and better understand what is required to achieve the goal. Then it's time to establish your budget goal. This usually determines the overall scale of your event. A successful event planning requires a good team of designers, social media content specialist and event planners.

Once the main pieces are set, define the social media strategy, website, blog and create online communities before the event. Time to create a hype online! This will give attendees a way to interact with one another, building up anticipation for when they finally meet in person. Launch your blog campaign. Another great brand building strategy is to get involved with local partnerships. Partner with other local businesses to promote your event and as well as build brand awareness. Paid Social Advertising is just as important as going with PPC advertising. PPC is a smart solution for getting your brand seen on Google.

3. Choose The Right Management Software.

Now that event goals and budget are all set, it's time to create a detailed event marketing planning timeline. Once, everything is structured, then it's time to choose the right event campaign management software. The best platforms are ones that can reliably collect valuable event data and provide rich insights from that data. Find the software that you can monitor event registration performance in real-time. Find the platform that offers a website editor. Event campaigning is about personal which translates into every single little details from wordings, right imagery, to timing.

4. Create A Hype!
Lastly, turn your attendees into your event evangelist. The people attending your event are the ones who will be most excited about it. Capitalize on that passion by having social media competitions, giving prizes to those who receive the most likes, shares, retweets, etc. Event marketing is entering a guerrilla era where the physical and the virtual cross paths, offering new options for marketing professionals who create buzz over a service or product. When all said and done, make sure that it's fun.

5. Email Marketing
Today, more than 34% of the people worldwide use email. That’s about 2.5 billion people. It’s predicted to increase yearly. Of all digital marketing technique, email marketing is still a vibrant and powerful way to connect with people. Email marketing is a very personal way of reaching your target customers. Email can be tailored to customer actions so that every communication is relevant to their interest. Messages from your friends and family or someone about hype cool social event can be cheerful. That’s why email marketing works at it’s best when it is personalized.
